my 2nd event...a forum for folks in the creative industry...had some really cool speakers...Tyler Brule (so charming!!!)...Adam D. Tihany (had some pretty cool interior design..and he was such an engaging speaker)...Mike Yamashita (great pictures! duh)..Benjamin Wood (great insights into some of his landmark architecture projects)...Duangrit Bunnag (found the cool shop he designed during the bangkok trip! i love it when u discover little things that u've read or heard about!)...Cory Ondrejka ( founder of 2nd life...stupid thing doesnt support the graphic card on my pc) and the irreverent Neil French (he was an excellent closing speaker!..showed some side-splitting adverts and he was hilarious!)

Mr Christ's ( yes.. christ!) event held at sentosa golf club. was a miss vanna white handing our awards for Mr Forbes to give to the Best Under a Billion awardees. Was a pretty simple event..just dinner and awards..no entertainment wat-so-ever. Some funny moments tho, like when we suddenly heard ronnie and nicole calling cues over the walkie..ahaha...thoses walkies were good! had to change channels after tt. oo and then there was the awardee who drank too much..almost stumbled off the stage stairs..mannn....
Mommy's birthday surprise
oosh...this took some sneaking around...had a hard time finding a photog and coordinating the whole affair with mi's kakis. took extra effort cos she's damn sensitive in picking up vibes when we act strange and she kept being so 'difficult' that day!...had a hard time trying to 'get' her to the photography studio without her getting suspicious...kudos to di for getting her there..poor guy got scolded for taking the 'wrong route'! ahahah... still it was a success! yay!

really interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes. lots of late cold nites, rehearsals and more rehearsals but i'm glad i went down cos i didnt't really get to be at the show on the actual day. was quite an eye-opener on the workings of show production. Glad too that it didnt rain and the show when on pretty well (even thought uncle nick's cue-ing became quite the story after the event..."5..4..3...no..wait..5...4...go!" ahahahah) The fireworks were great too..firing from multiple places...very cool...but mannnn didnt quite get to enjoy it cos i was totally totally stressed out when it happened. :p

String Theory
Really nice band from LA that i spent almost 10 evenings with...and they play pretty good too..really talented bunch of folks-Luke and Holly the couple (luke designed the harp!), Danny the guys who plays everything!, Richard "mr zen" the drummer who's really friendly and easy to talk to, Julie the pool shark (she's darn good!) who plays the violin, and the other harp player,Holly, who's so funny with her witty comments and expressions.
